Decatur Bible Church has been blessed with new visitors, regular attenders and members over the past year so that the we need to hold two services in order to provide adequate space for those who are coming. Beginning the first Sunday in October, the 2nd, services will be held at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. at 700 N. Trinity St., Decatur. Childcare for ages 0-2 years and Bible Class for ages 3-6 years will be available for both services.

Thank you for visiting Decatur Bible Church online. Take some time to look around and get to know us. We hope that your time here on the website will lead you to visit us soon.

Decatur Bible Church exists to encourage followers of Jesus Christ to “worship God in all things”. We strive to accomplish this by a shared commitment to grace-filled biblical fellowship and a gracious proclamation of the gospel – through a shared commitment to Evangelism and Discipleship.

The Church is Family. That is really what we are. Whether at our Sunday worship services or our Wednesday evening home groups, you’ll find that people love to linger, enjoying the fellowship that we have together in Christ. Married or single, young families, mature families, widow or widower, all brought together by a shared knowledge of, and joy in, the grace of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God’s grace is central not only to who we are but to what we do. On Sunday mornings, it fills our prayers, our music and singing, our teaching and our preaching. It fills our fellowship on Wednesday evenings at home group and throughout the week as we get together for encouragement and growth in Christ. It fills the lives we live and the message of hope that we share with others.

God’s love and grace naturally seek out others to share love and grace with. We’d love the opportunity to get to know you in person and to share together in the joy and fellowship of God’s grace. Visit us on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. through the end of September. Beginning October 2nd we will have two Sunday services, one at 9:00 a.m. and the second at 10:45 a.m. Make plans to arrive a bit early to get settled and meet some of our members. Stay after, or go to lunch with someone, to spend some time with part of the family and get to know us better.

We look forward to meeting you,

Pastor Rick Carman
