Decatur Bible Church is transitioning to a new building!

Decatur Bible Church has been meeting in the Wise County Historical Museum for the past couple of years. Late this Spring we were blessed to be made aware of a church property in town that had come up for sale. After much prayer we purchases a church property at 700 N. Trinity St. in Decatur. We are now in the process of moving to that property to begin services there. Our schedule over the next couple of weeks is as follows:

Sunday, Sep 20th: 10:45 Service at Wise County Historical Museum
Sunday, Sep 27th: No services at Decatur Bible Church; we are all visiting our parent church, Denton Bible Church for services.
Sunday, Oct 4th: 10:45 Service at 700 N. Trinity St., the new home of Decatur Bible Church!

We are excited about having a more permanent home within the Decatur-Wise County community! Please continue to get to know us through our website here, and if the Lord leads you – come join us for a Sunday worship service. We want to get to know you as well.

Thank you for visiting Decatur Bible Church online.

Take some time to look around and get to know us. We hope that your time here on the website will lead you to visit us soon.

Decatur Bible Church exists to glorify God. We strive to accomplish that by committing our lives to sharing Christ with others and sharing in Christ together as a church family.

Family. That is really what we are. Whether at our Sunday worship service or our Wednesday evening home groups, you’ll find that people love to linger, enjoying the fellowship that we have together in Christ. Married or single, young families, mature families, widow or widower, all brought together by a shared knowledge of, and joy in, the grace of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God’s grace is central not only to who we are but to what we do. On Sunday mornings, it fills our prayers, our music and singing, our teaching and our preaching. It fills our fellowship on Wednesday evenings at home group and throughout the week as we get together for encouragement and growth in Christ. It fills the lives we live and the message of hope that we share with others.

God’s love and grace naturally seek out others to share love and grace with. We’d love the opportunity to get to know you in person. Visit us on Sunday mornings at our worship service. We begin at 11:00. Come early to get settled and meet some of our members. Stay after, or go to lunch with someone, to spend some time with us as family.

We look forward to meeting you,

Pastor Rick Carman
